This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
During counseling sessions, my students enjoy a lot of hands-on activities to learn various topics on social-emotional learning. I am constantly printing out resources, worksheets, and activities for them to use during sessions. Since they do hands-on activities, they use scissors, glue, markers, etc. to complete these activities. I also teach them to be organized by putting all there finished projects in a folder at the end of the counseling session. Therefore, all the materials being asked for would be a great assistance for my students. Not only are they improving their social-emotional skills but their creativeness as well!
