My Students
I teach in a high poverty school, with the large majority of my students receiving free or reduced-price lunch. I am a special education resource teacher, serving students in both 3rd and 4th grade. I currently work with 20 students with up to 10 in my classroom at a time.
My students are kind, enthusiastic, and very hard workers.
In order for them to continue to make progress, I need to meet their learning needs. The students in my classroom are very motivated by the use of technology and I am always looking for new ways to involve technology in our daily routine. However, due to a lack of funding, I am not always able to supply them with the resources or supplies that we need.
My Project
My students have been working hard all year, but with all their hard work and motivation, supplies are running low! My students have become very responsible with using our classroom supplies, but after a few months of school, we no longer have all the supplies that we need.
Please help me to give my students supplies that we need to continue the amazing learning that we have started this year!
The ink and TeachersPayTeachers gift card will be used to help me to find new resources for my students to use. The laminating sheets are used to keep important supplies, such as counting charts, reference sheets, and games in good shape so my students can use them again and again.
The Kleenex and paper towels will be used to help my students to continue using healthy habits. They have been doing a phenomenal job with helping to keep the classroom clean and using personal hygiene skills throughout the pandemic, with these supplies, I want to continue to encourage them to show these skills.
