My Project
Covid-19 impacted every classroom in Oklahoma. Prices went up, companies are not as willing to donate to schools, and funding has gone down tremendously. Most of my students were a job after school to help support their families. So everything we need in the classroom we have to fundraise or seek out donations.
My leadership class supports all students in the school through school activities.
We are constantly needing more supplies. In this project, we have requested paint, paper, brushes, and more.
Getting this funded would help us out to continue supporting student activities. It is statistically proven, the more students are involved in student activities, academic achievement improves. This is the goal of our school and program; to promote a positive school climate and culture.
