Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The curriculum provided by the district is fantastic, and I feel so fortunate to have it! However, to truly bring the concepts to life, I love implementing additional experiments to make learning more exciting and memorable.
Some of the supplies will be used as follows: Oreos will help us demonstrate the moon phases, while spoons, an electric kettle, and popcorn will serve as tools to illustrate thermal energy, owl pellets to dissect in class to show an in depth look into predator and prey.
Additionally, the other materials will allow us to create keychains featuring key concepts, helping students remember them when testing time comes around. I always strive to provide my students with the most enriched classroom experience possible!
