This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Thanks so much for helping supply my students with items to promote personal hygiene and prevent hunger in the school environment including tissues, 3 Ply face protection masks, snack crackers, fine motor donut game and more! These supplies will truly enhance the students' ability to learn. The students range from kindergarten up to grade 5. Their diagnoses include Autism, Developmental Delays, Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, Batten Disease, Angelman's Syndrome, and students with speech impairments and other disabilities. I will also share the donations with colleagues of mine who also work with students with special needs in this school. Our extensive therapy room consists of occupational, speech, and physical therapists. We collaborate when developing treatment plans and will all benefit from this donation! Thank you so much for your help in providing them with these materials! We truly appreciate your kindness!
