Life skills classes contain both academic and vocational learning. In order to teach students the skills to be successful and independent, basic supplies are necessary to demonstrate tasks and strategies that have been proven successful. Students need access to folders and glue in order to complete academic tasks.
Vocational tasks also require supplies in order to experience meaningful learning opportunities.
Students work tirelessly learning how to work in an office. We need a label printer, barcode scanner, and laminating sheets. Students learn tasks such as how to cut, laminate, and collate. They also learn how to read order forms, as well as scan barcodes and QR codes.
