I am a teacher in a low-income/high poverty school district. My students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. I have several students who struggle with learning disabilities. I am looking to provide my students with a creative and meaningful learning experience.
My students are creative and love to learn.
They just need materials that suit their variety of learning differences. We all learn differently and need a variety of materials to do so. We will truly appreciate any help that is provided with funding this project.
My Project
Many of my students come from low income families, who are struggling financially, and start the year off with limited to no school supplies. Pencils, papers, and notebooks would help those families who cannot afford to purchase their children these supplies.
The school supplies will be readily available to bless specific students who need them, at the beginning of the school year and throughout the year.
This will help take the pressure off of families and keep my students from feeling upset or embarrassed.
