This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students come to school eager to learn, but they don't always have what they need to be successful. These basic supplies (dry-erase markers, marker holder, whiteboard eraser, scented markers, microfiber cleaning clothes, pencil sharpener, colored pencil sharpener, pencils, colored pencils, crayons, washable markers, and Post-it note pads) put every student on an even platform, as they will all have exactly what they need in the classroom. They will not have to worry about whether they have a pencil or a marker.

Inner-city public school students are at a disadvantage.

Not only are public schools underfunded, but students attending these schools cannot afford to bring in supplies from home. Funding this project ensures that my classroom is full of everything my students need.
