Supplies for an Independent Tomorrow

Help me give my students the supplies needed for success in their future lives as semi-independent adults with light covers, popcorn, and an air fryer.

My Project

My students are special because they are all working on their self-independence and are learning life skills so they can live as self-sufficiency as possible.

The specific items I am requesting will make a difference in their learning because they will have experience using modern kitchen appliances.

These student need to be able to use modern appliances with ease and safely. We are requesting a air friyer so the can learn to use in on our schoolhouse kitchen. Hygiene items are so they will never be without the needed items to stay healthy and clean. My students will have more exposure to healthy lifestyles with the gym equipment. The light covers will block the harsh light and give the rooms a calm feeling or warm sunshine even in the darkest winter of Alaska.

This classroom project aims to foster self-reliance among students by providing them with the tools and skills necessary to take charge of their learning.

Long-term Impacts would include the classroom's growing self-sufficiency which leads to lasting benefits for students, the school, and the surrounding community.

This project efficiently manages these one-time available resources, making the classroom more self-sustaining over time.
