Supplies for a Successful Socially Distanced September and Beyond!

My Students

Carpe Diem! These are the words that greet my students daily as they enter our classroom. I aim to create an environment filled with creativity, educational challenges, happiness, and self-awareness. Every day, my students rise to the challenge and truly seize the day!

My students attend a Title I public school in New York City where nearly all students come from low-income households.

My students are a diverse group of intellectually gifted fourth graders. Their interests are unique and varied, yet they share the trait of innate inquisitiveness. Our classroom is a place of discovery and inquiry. We strive to tap into our higher-order thinking skills on a daily basis, pushing ourselves to explore and think deeply.

My Project

We find ourselves in stressful times. However, the learning continues! Whether remotely or in the classroom, I am working hard to meet the needs of my students. Whatever the means of instruction, I am so proud of them and they continue to flourish in remarkable ways!

The requested supplies will go a long way in ensuring a successful September and beyond.

The notebooks, pencils, markers, labels, paper, and envelopes are all needed necessities for my students. The tissues will help us keep our germs at bay. The post-its and tape will allow us to organize our work. Whether used in school or remotely, all of these supplies will help my students do their very best. The supplies will be used daily and across all content areas.
