Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I have students with special needs in all 13 eligibility categories. Having a variety of sensory items available ensures that every student will have access to a supportive fidget. As a reading and writing foundations educator I understand the challenge many of my kids have with maintaining attention throughout the lessons. I have a number students diagnosed with ADHD as well as ASD. They are amazing and work so hard every day. I want to do my part in providing them with all the tools they could need to achieve their goals and have a positive experience at school.
