The students in my class are excited learners, but often do not have the supplies that they need in order to complete meaningful assignments. Often, supplies are lost between classes and/or at home. Because my sixth graders are at all different levels, it’s important that we don’t lose important instructional minutes while locating supplies. All of our students in 6th grade are learning to change classes and house their materials in lockers, for the first time. In addition, students need help to keep their materials organized within their shared desk baskets. This project is important especially for struggling learners who need help with organizing materials. With materials such as pencils, colored pencils, Ziploc storage bags, and folders, our students will be able to complete their work in an organized fashion.
