SWAG: Students Will Achieve Greatness! This is the motto followed in my classroom everyday, but it can become a challenge when there aren't any places for my students to put their belongings. With the lack of cubbies and storage within my classroom, the result is everything at their desk.
My students attend a Charter School in NYC.
They are a blossoming new group of 3rd Grade students who are ready to please and do their best. They still have a desire to learn and continually strive for greatness. They attend a school who does it best with what they have for their students. Residing in a poor neighbor parental support is limited. Also being a charter school constantly relying on grants. Yet the students appreciate everything, and are grateful for all the blessings that enter their lives big and small.
My Project
Due to the lack of storage and cubbies within my classroom, your donation will help a great deal. This will allow my students to hold everything they need at their desk besides their book bags, without creating a mess of their desk and area. It will create organization and functionality for the students to be able to focus on their school work with seat sacks on the back to hold the extra materials they will need throughout the day. The chart paper will allow whole class teaching where all the students can participate and look at their work later. Lastly the pencils and the classroom keeper will help the classroom run smoothly by providing a basic need that students always need and keeping their important papers all in one place.
Your donation will make a great difference to these students to have the opportunity to truly stay focus on their work and excel because the organization and the supplies they need are readily available.
Many times we forget how much of a role organization plays in our lives, but to imagine our lives without organization would be chaos, and for a 8 year old it can mean the difference of focusing on their multiplication tables or I can't find the papers I need to do my work.
