My Project
My students keep me on my toes and I love how I never know what I am walking into with each class. My students have a drive to learn that melts my heart on a daily basis.
I never knew how fast 6th graders went through pencils and other basic supplies until now.
I am running low on supplies for my classroom. These supplies will help restock my classroom through the rest of the school year. We use glue sticks in our interactive notebooks. The pencils and erasers are to replace what we have used this year so we do not run out. Many students do not have the money to keep buying new pencils so having them on hand is vital.
We use earbuds daily with our online reading programs, as well as for testing just to block out noise. Students are also allowed to listen to music while working independently. Many students have their own but sometimes students forget theirs or their headphones get broken. I like to have headphones in my classroom and the little bags will be just to keep the earbuds organized!
I asked for bookshelves because the current bookshelves in my room are busting at the seam with books. In my classroom, I have over 500 books and no room to store them, so I have them in tubs on top of the current shelves. I would love to be able to put all of my books on shelves and get them out of tubs so my students can easily find a book to read in my classroom. The shelves will keep my books organized and students will be able to easily access any book they want to read.
