Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

Every single day of a school year is filled with work, projects and things that need to be done, but sometimes they have to be delayed or even canceled altogether because of the lack of supplies. I teach kindergarten and I love doing what I do, but at times I must say that I wish I was able to do even more if I had all the supplies that I need for my students. Especially this year, with all the budget cuts around the entire city, the once really getting hurt are our wonderful students.

We do a lot of projects and hands on activities, but a lot of them need supplies that we do not have, or have very little of. We would greatly appreciate if you could provide us with some of these essential daily supplies for this school year. I want to make learning fun and enjoyable for my students to be taught and flourish in this school year and your donation would be exactly what we need for stardom.

These are just a few examples of things we will be doing: - Writing and coloring— for that we need pencils and crayons and journals and paper to write and draw on. -We learn from our mistakes and how to erase them—we need erasers. - We use glue sticks to keep all of our construction projects together.

My students are wonderful and they would be so grateful if you could provide them with these essential supplies. Thank you for your generosity.
