This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Basic school supplies and board games can greatly benefit students by fostering engagement, promoting essential skills, and supporting academic learning. School supplies provide tools for creative expression, writing practice, and structured learning activities. Additionally, board games offer fun, interactive ways to learn, develop critical thinking, and collaborative learning.

Our Care Closet allows students access to items such as school supplies, activities or games that enhances their social, emotional and academic learning.

The goal is always to enhance students' learning and development. Various board and card games such as Chess, Sorry, or Uno can improve cognitive skills like problem-solving, critical thinking, and strategic planning, while also fostering social skills, teamwork, and communication.
