My students need basic school supplies to be successful. Chart paper will allow them to continue to view learned material throughout the school year. Other items will help with basic notes and projects.

My Students

My school is located in a rural area of the state, comprised of 5th and 6th grade classrooms, for over 600 students. Around 70% of my students are from low income families that work hard to provide what they can.

My students are enthusiastic about learning.

They enjoy being hands-on and creative. They are very technology minded and enjoy using as much of it as possible to research how their current world relates to ancient times. I enjoy seeing my students passionate about their education.

My Project

These supplies will ensure that each and every student that enters my classroom will be prepared with the basic materials needed to participate with their peers. Students will be able to use these supplies to create visual representations of ancient civilizations from around the world. Each student will have equal access to the materials needed to use their creativity and imagination.

By donating to this project you will give students who lack the basic supplies needed for success, a reliable and consistent place to go for items needed.

These items will create an equal opportunity classroom. Students will have access to regular writing pencils with erasers and colored pencils for projects. Chart paper will be utilized to display content around the classroom for students to view all year round. Glue sticks and sticky notes will be used in their interactive notebooks to help with note taking.
