Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are a group of curious, joyful people. They enjoy being at school and are eager to share in class. Every day, they show respect, are responsible and are safe. They are wonderful students and will be even better adults. They need your support, now more than ever.
These students are in a unique position, in that they are all in a bilingual program, receiving half of their instruction in English, and a half in Spanish.
They are persevering and working hard toward bi-literacy to put themselves in a better position for their futures. It is exciting to see how much they grow every day, both academically and personally!
My Project
I am requesting a gift card to Teachers Pay Teachers, a site with seemingly unlimited resources to supplement what my students are learning.
This resource will help me adapt if and when learning has to go remote.
There are lots of materials that can be printed and sent home and also many that I can use digitally with students. Another really nice thing is that there are materials for every subject and grade, so I can even use TpT to differentiate for my students. Teachers love to share and borrow from each other; this will help me access some of the best materials teaches have created to continue my students' learning, whether we are in class or remote! Thank you for your help!
