My Students
I teach in a Title 1 school where many of our students are below the poverty level and receive free or reduced-price lunch. Despite the obstacles that many of my 29 second grade students face at home, they come to school every day inquisitive and eager to learn.
I want my students to be fully engaged in all they are learning and I want to provide them with resources that are fun and stimulating.
My Project
The past year and a half has been a very challenging time for my students. Most of them learned remotely and have learned to adapt to the many challenges that come with learning new technologies.
Teachers Pay Teachers (TPT) is a wonderful online marketplace for teacher created resources used for supplementing learning.
Using the many wonderful digital resources found on TPT will be very beneficial to their learning. I am requesting gift cards to help purchase grade level resources and activities for my students.
The resources available on TPT are digital templates, activities, games, and more - they are subject-based, grade-level appropriate, and engaging for students. I've used TPT resources in the past and they have proven to be engaging and fun for the students.
