My Project
My 5th-grade students love science and the opportunity for real-world science adventures.
SuperSTEM Magazine will give all students the opportunity to read relevant text, discuss scientific ideas, and celebrate the power of scientific exploration.
I love to encourage curiosity in my scientists while developing their reading skills.
I plan on using the SuperSTEM Magazines with both 5th grade classes. There is also a digital component that lets students explore at their level with read-aloud audio and other tools to help me differentiate their learning. The inquiry-based lessons align with NGSS and let students engage in scientific and engineering practices. There are hands-on activities and a variety of digital games so they can apply their knowledge. I have used this magazine in my classroom before and it has always been a class favorite!
