This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
During COVID and virtual learning, students watched videos of others performing labs. Items and supplies purchased will help replace and supplement supplies already in the science lab so that students can actually perform labs in person.
It is proven that participating in science labs increases student engagement and even attendance, as they are more inclined to be at school when able to participate in something fun and engaging.
Hands on activities also help students master content and gain a deeper understanding of the concepts they are learning about in class.
