Help me give my students a fantastic 2021/2022 school year by helping our classroom purchase some fun fiction and nonfiction reading books and some physical education materials.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Hello, I am an inclusion teacher. I have 22 eager 1st grade students who love learning. My students come from all walks of life. My students are busy bodies and I have several students who require hands on materials for learning and they love to learn with hands-on activities. They become extremely engaged with learning when we learn about topics that interests them. With the help and support of Donors Choose, I can continue to create a fun and engaging learning environment for every student in my classroom.
My goal this school year is to help create a positive mindset of loving education and motivating them to want to learn and explore more in their future.
I want to continue to have fun with learning by introducing them to much more than than I can provide them with. I want to introduce my students to more Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, Art, as well as Reading and Writing.
I look forward to completing our projects in class and I hope you do too!
My Project
So after a long year of quarantine, I would love to help my students become more physically active. I am asking for a 20ft. parachute to take to the playground for some physical fun. As a child, I always remember how fun I would have playing with the large parachute and how many students loved participating on parachute day. Students are able to run under the parachute and go to an empty spot or use foam balls to balance on the parachute using our upper body strength.
Our Superhero Headquarters are also in need of some 1st grade reading books.
My students loved these books when I read to them during virtual learning. I am asking for your help in adding some popular books to our superhero library. These books include books of all subjects. I added some fiction and nonfiction books.
Our class would really appreciate all your help in making our 2021/2022 school year a success.
