Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students all bring their own experiences and knowledge to the classroom. They all have different levels of learning abilities, but are always curious and willing to share their knowledge with one another. The community that I teach in is predominantly low-income and many students are considered English Language Learners.

My Project

The items that were selected will help to create a welcoming environment, where every student feels included and heard. The charts will serve as a motivational reminder for students, when they are need of inspiration as they will see it presented around the classroom. The superhero theme will help many students feel inspired to be super in their own classroom and help other students with achieving their goals as well. The birthday items will help students feel recognized and will ensure that they know that they are important to the teacher and classmates.
