This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are kind, funny, curious, and determined. Although my students are now in 1st grade, for many, this is their first year in a classroom. Not a boring day goes by with my students and they always keep me on my toes. I want to continue to provide them with a memorable year of first grade!

My students deserve the supplies for a classroom that motivates them and helps the day run smoothly!

I am looking forward to all the growth my students will continue to have this year.

My Project

I hope to provide my students materials that will engage them in learning, such as reading center games and LEGO's. My students show a love for reading, so it would be wonderful to add their favorite books to our classroom library. I'm hoping to provide my students with incentives for our treasure box. Having chair pockets will make our organization flow so we wouldn't have to share cubby spaces. This would also save transition time in between tasks, as students would have everything they need at their seat.

I know my students will be extremely appreciative of these items, and they will help make a difference in their everyday lives.
