My Project

I am co-teaching this school year and I am looking forward to doing it again next year! The materials I am requesting will help teach our young scholars to be ready for school. By providing each scholar with a black expo markers, and jumbo pencils with and without an eraser; this will help our young learners to learn how to hold the writing utensils and keep track of their own school supplies. Furthermore, providing nameplate sleeves with traditional manuscript to show scholars how to write and spell their names, colors, shapes, letters and numbers are essential for them to understand their personal space. Finally, having a different size labeling pockets will also help with organizing center rotations and protect self- checking sheets that will teach my young learners to keep track of their behavior in class.

As a kindergarten teachers, we try to find ways to help our young learners to learn how to be more responsible of their things as well as learning to be more organized and to become successful all year long.

We as educators are teaching our scholars how to read and write, but it is also our job to teach them how to be responsible for the tools they need to succeed!
