My Students

I am a kindergarten teacher in an Integrated Co-Teaching (ICT) classroom. My co-teacher and I teach 19 kindergarten students from diverse backgrounds who have a variety of different needs and learning styles. The students in our classroom benefit from interactive, hands-on activities.

From 8:00 each morning until 2:20 in the afternoon, our students work hard to learn their letters for pre-reading and writing as well as numbers for counting and one-to-one correspondence.

The students love when they have the opportunity to work to learn through engaging activities.

My Project

These materials, such as the poster makers, will be used daily in the classroom to make colorful and engaging charts as we learn together. The ink for our printer will also be used to print differentiated and interactive materials for young learners. The other materials, such as the Velcro dots and laminating sheets, will be utilized to create hands-on, individualized activities for our diverse learners.

Students in our classroom need colored, engaging, and interactive hands-on activities, that are individualized to each learner to truly appreciate learning in our classroom.

With the help of these materials, our students will receive whole-class support as well as individualized support via activities, individual interactive behavior charts and routines, and rewards. The charts will also help them to better know how to engage in our classroom community. We can't wait to better support our amazing learners!
