Super Supplies for Success

Help me give my students all kinds of supplies for our classroom. We need more books, manipulatives, supplies, resources, and a new dry erase board!

My Students

My students are really special to me for many reasons. I have a wonderful group of students who come from diverse backgrounds that make them unique. Being engaged in their own learning is crucial for ensuring their success. For example, I know that they learn best through active and meaningful experiences that they can connect across the content areas and to their own experiences. Learning by doing is essential for us because it is so highly motivating.

Unfortunately, most of the enriching experiences my students encounter are within the school walls because my students live in high poverty situations.

I strive every day to make school fun and meaningful for my precious students while providing them with a close classroom community in which they feel safe. They deserve the very best!

My Project

My students are constantly asking for more and more new books. They absolutely love to read, and I love that about them. Some of the books that I am asking for come directly from their mouths as a specific request. The sets of books are for our class shared reading, which has proven to be of much success in our classroom, prompting them to want to read more whether it be a sequel or another book from the series. I love putting them on to new books that they might have otherwise not chosen themselves.

I try very hard to make everyday of learning highly engaging; the tpt gift card helps provide top of the line engaging lessons to my students.

The lessons and resources that can be found on teachers pay teachers are created by some of the most amazing educators and allow for their great ideas to be brought into my classroom.

In addition to needing more books and resources for our classroom, we need basic supplies in order to be successful. Our current dry erase board is falling apart and we are in dire need of a new one for our lessons and to hold out anchor charts. We also need new dice so that all students can be provided with their very own set inside of a container.

Lastly, we need items to fill up our treasure box for the classroom. Every two weeks students are able to cash in their points for prizes. They work so hard to remain focused and scholarly in the classroom and deserve to be rewarded for their great behavior. My students are very special to me and all of these items will help them continue to have a successful third grade year.
