Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are high energy and they love to play. Board games, puzzles, and fidgets allow for unique opportunities to play and learn at the same time. Games allow students to think strategically while also practicing social skills. Board games nurture cognitive flexibility and force students to have conversations with each other (as opposed to texting on screens). Games allow for joyful learning.
Funding this project will allow my students to have access to games, puzzles and fidgets that will allow them to appropriately interact with their peers.
Bleach wipes and paper towels have been include to keep our second home sanitary and safe from germs. Puzzle pieces, boardgames. desktops and fidgets should be wiped down at the end of each session.
