This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Exposing Kindergarten students to science for the first time should be exciting, engaging and motivating. Kindergarteners begin the academic year learning about what a scientist is and what tools they need to be successful. What would be more exciting than providing our young learners with the ability to turn into real life scientist!
A scientist needs their lab coat, safety goggles and their clip board in order to begin using the scientific method.
These lab coats, safety goggles and clip boards will go a long way to make my students become scientist! On Lab Fun Friday students will have the chance to perform observations, ask questions, form a hypothesis (predict), test the predictions, collect data and interpret their data about the subject they are learning about. Science can be a fun subject to learn about!
