My Students
"The future of the world is in my classroom today." Ivan Welton Fitzwater
My school is an elementary school, and my students are first graders.
61% of our students are economically disadvantaged. The school provides a safe, encouraging, and positive environment for all students. The students are told, that it's okay not to know something, but it's not okay not to try. My students come to school everyday ready to learn. I want to make sure that every student has the resources in the classroom to make them a successful student.
My Project
My students need a designated place to put science materials. This desk will provide a place to store their science journals and science materials. They will also have a place to go to and write about the science investigations.
My students need a nice area where they can go at anytime and discover, observe, and explore the science materials.
By donating to this project you will provide my students with improve my students access to science materials. Right now in the classroom we do not have a designated place to put our materials, so we have to put them away after each science investigation. It would be nice to have a place to display materials.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
