This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Where do I begin! The students in my classroom bring a wealth of knowledge. We have a diverse group of students in Cleveland and each one has their own story, involving family, cultures, traditions, and experiences. The students that enter my classroom work as a team and respect each other’s differences (we model and discuss with them). We all have special qualities in which we can learn from each other on a day to day basis. They are truly an incredible group, and I am so lucky and thankful to have a new group of learners that are excited and ready to learn each year!
My Project
Students love routine and any items that can enhance their learning. The items I have selected will help to ensure my students are actively participating in learning centers and staying focused. The headsets can block out distractions around them. The utility stools can be used for teachers and students to practice healthier sitting habits and provide teachers the abilities to move or rotate to monitor other centers going on around the room.
We use learning centers daily in our classroom and to give students new headphones and dice to use will provide them stability in complete learning task.
