My Students

Our school has students from kindergarten through eighth grade. About 75% of the students receive free or reduced-rate lunch. I believe with all my heart that our school is the best kept secret in our district.

The students, faculty, and staff treat each other as family.

It's a safe, nurturing environment for learning and growing students to reach their fullest potential. My students work hard and are thrilled to practice and to learn new skills. My goal is to grow students academically and socially by planting the needed skills to find success in life.

My Project

Many students are reluctant to get started on assignments. Well, what would happen if you got to choose super cool colored paper to write on? Then, you get to write with a pen. You betcha. I would want to get started since I would be able to use new tools.

How exciting to use paper and pens that you don't normally get to use!

The students may not be excited about the assignment, but they will be about using new tools. Since the students will be eager to use the new paper and pens; hopefully, the eagerness will transfer to their school work.
