Please help my Boulevard Academy students feel special!
Have you ever had a day where you felt invisible?
Have you ever received absolutely nothing on a day that was supposed to be really special to you? I have been bewildered at the amount of students who have come to my office to tell me no one spoke to them once they got home.
I have students returning to school who've lost a parent, friend or a family member. I also have students who are returning from being inpatient and having a little sunshine bag would really help get them started in the right direction of feeling cared for right off the bat. This kind of bag would be perfect to hand to them so they know we see them and we are here for them
Our school does not have a PTO and we need support from donors such as you. Please help my students feel seen by receiving this simple bag filled with love and goodies.
I would love to have these bagged and ready to go the first day of the 24/25 school year. It would be great to have them on hand when we need one quickly.
The bags will provide a direct student benefit by helping them to understand they are noticed at school. By this, it will incentivise them to continue to want to be here because they feel cared for. There are so many rewards to providing a small token of acknowledgement.
