This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I’m a second-grade teacher at RES in Uvalde, Texas. Our last day of school should have been May 26, 2022. We were planning a day filled with outdoor rotations that included water slides, bubbles, play dough, sidewalk chalk writing, and much more. Unfortunately, that day never came because of the tragedy that occurred at our campus. With your help, I would like to continue with that plan off-campus and provide my students with the items needed to carry out those rotations. I can’t wait to see their faces light up. I want them to keep on smiling!
