My Project
Many students will go an entire summer without doing much writing. Before summer break we send students home with books to read and games to play that involve math, so why not also send home with students the materials, and more importantly the inspiration. to write over the summer.
I am hoping to get all of my students to participate in a writing race over the summer.
With a journal and a fun pen I am hoping students will be encouraged to write about what they do over the summer. Hopefully a little friendly competition, the writing race, will encourage them to try to do a little more writing than their friends.
