Our school has closed down due to the coronavirus pandemic. My classroom is meeting on Zoom once a week, and I am sending them videos of me reading books. The students in my class are lacking many resources, the main being technology.
My Project
These materials will help my students with distance learning in many ways. Many of my students are lacking resources at their houses such as pencils, scissors, books, and lined paper.
My students will be able to practice writing their name and their letters with the writing paper and large pencils.
Over the summer, I think it will be very beneficial for the students to have these items to help sharpen their writing and creative skills before starting kindergarten in the fall. Since we will no longer have our Zoom meetings, I think these items will make the children excited about learning over the summer.
