Summer Reading Opportunities

Help me give my students the PERFECT summer reading books, highlighters as accessories and other resources!

My Project

Many of my students do not have books to read during the summer. Although digital books are available, they prefer to have a paper copy. I have selected higher interest books that students will enjoy reading to bring back their love of reading that they once while holding paper books. Research shows that when readers read books on topics they are interested in, they will see an improvement on their vocabulary. Although the books may not be advanced, they will get through them quick enough to know they still got it!

More than anything, I want my students to grow up to be lifelong readers and I believe that reading this summer will help them.

Knowing that they are not reading for a grade but just for enjoyment, will take the pressure off. Thank you in advance!
