This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are ESL students from different parts of the world. They are enthusiastic learners. They are really hard workers and are always looking to improve their reading. They have made so much progress this school year, and I want them to continue their learning over the summer.

I want to motivate my students to continue their literacy learning in the summer by reading as much as possible.

Before the end of the school year, we will have a movie day where we will watch Dogman. I will also give them books to take home over the summer to read in English and their native language. I hope that these goodies will motivate them to continue their reading and prevent any summer learning loss.
