Summer Reading Challenge
Help our middle schoolers dive into a summer of literacy and adventure by providing 125 copies each of *Esperanza Rising* and *Percy Jackson and the Olympians*.
With your support, we can keep students reading, learning, and thriving all summer long!
As an instructional coach, I know how critical summer reading is to maintaining academic progress and nurturing a love of learning. This summer, we are launching a **Summer Reading Challenge** for our middle school students to bridge the gap between school years and prevent the summer slide.
We’re focusing on two incredible novels:
*Esperanza Rising* by Pam Muñoz Ryan – a powerful story of resilience, family, and transformation.
Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan – a thrilling mythological adventure that captivates readers of all levels.
To make this initiative a success, we need 125 copies of each book – one for every student participating in the challenge. These books will be theirs to keep – building home libraries and encouraging lifelong reading habits.
With your help, we can ensure that every student has access to high-quality literature this summer. Your donation is an investment in equity, literacy, and the joy of reading.
