This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My co-teacher and I would love to send students off this summer with their own pencil pouch that can be used next school year filled with fun goodies like scented pencils and erasers (class favorites), bookmarks to encourage them to read through the summer, and a summer reading journal where they log what they read. Each pouch of goodies calculates to $13 per student and will be given out on the last day of school to start their summer off and reward them for all their hard work this year.
