Help me give my students a magical ending to a very different, but successful year with some educational supplies, books, and well-deserved incentives.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach in a fully remote Self-Contained Special Education setting where my students have special needs, varying from learning disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, Emotional Disturbances, difficult home life, etc. In addition, my students come from low-income households. All of my students are sweet and motivated learners. They make my day each and every day and I wouldn't trade them for the world!
My Project
My students experienced a very different kind of school year this year, and while I have not gotten the chance to teach them in person, I feel just as close to them as I would have if I did teach them in person. My students are very bright, energetic, motivated, and extremely hard-working. When my students go off for their summer break, I want them to have these materials and incentives for themselves in order to practice important academic skills, continue exploring their creativity, and most of all - have fun. With these leveled readers, workbooks, art supplies, and incentives, my students will be able to enjoy a summer of learning, creativity, and exploration!
