Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are 5 years old. They are creative, energetic and smart students. They work very hard throughout the year. They come from a low income school. Some students don't have the opportunity to travel or go on a trip. For this reason I would like to provide them with a fun end of the year gift.
I want my students to enjoy their summer with these summer gifts.
They will be able to explore and enjoy their summer break with their families. Even though not all students have the opportunity to travel, they can still use these shovels, buckets, bubble wands, balls, and fidget toys in their backyard or the park. They will be able to play with friends and family.
I love seeing my students learn through play. While playing with the gifts over the summer they will continue to develop their motor, investigative, and verbal skills. With these items I know that when they receive their end of the year gift it will bring a smile to their face.
