Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Every student learns best when they feel safe, supported, and energized. That’s why I’m requesting a variety of snacks and a durable beach-style tote bag to create a welcoming classroom environment where students have access to the little things that make a big difference.

From crackers and fruit snacks to popcorn and juice, these snacks will help keep my students focused during long learning days, especially in the summer when routines are different.

Whether it’s a morning boost, a reward for hard work, or a simple act of care, having snacks available helps students stay energized and ready to learn.

The large waterproof tote will be used to transport materials, snacks, and classroom resources to and from events, field trips, or outdoor learning days. It's a practical, reusable way to keep everything organized while staying prepared.

This project is about more than just treats—it’s about showing students they’re cared for and creating a classroom community built on encouragement, consistency, and trust.
