This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Do you know what is summer learning loss? As students return to school this fall, many of them will be starting the academic year with achievement levels lower than where they were at the beginning of summer break. This is referred to as summer learning loss. Traditionally, districts have relied on conventional summer school programs to combat summer loss and summer gap-growth. However, preschool students do not get offer summer programs.
I need your help in providing parents with a workbook, to help students retain some of the learning standards learned throughout the year.
This workbook will provide at home learning materials that will help parents support and supplement their children’s classroom curriculum. The book offers engaging and age appropriate activities that make learning fun for young children. Please help my students with summer learning loss by donating to my project.
