This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As the end of this school year approaches, I want to take a moment to reflect on what an incredible journey it has been with my students. This year has truly been one of the best, and I will miss each and every one of my first graders dearly. Their enthusiasm, kindness, and hard work have made this class a truly special one, and I am excited to celebrate their growth and achievements as they head into summer.

To show them just how much I appreciate their effort and to send them off with some fun, I am putting together end-of-year summer buckets that will be filled with small beach-themed items such as sunglasses, beach balls, and bookmarks.

These resources will allow students to engage in hands-on, sensory-rich, imaginative play while practicing teamwork, communication, and fine motor skills.
