Successfully Reading in First!

Help me give my students phonics games and an updated classroom library to help strengthen their reading skills to help them become successful humans!

My Project

I am hoping to get my students set up with an updated classroom library for next year! I am adding leveled readers with varying subjects for students to choose from, phonics games to help strengthen RLA skills that may be lacking or may need some brushing up on in order to grow as a young reader. I am also hoping to get a new (locking, not broken) treasure box with treasures for students to earn!

Students having a good variety of books to choose from helps them with their ability to make decisions based on their personal interests.

This also inspires them to read more, and in turn will help them grow their vocabulary and phonics skills!

The phonics games will be so helpful during RTI time and small group time when we can work closely on perfecting our phonics skills in bite-sized groups.

The treasure box is a great incentive for good behavior as well as reaching goals students/myself have set for them!

The classroom phonics posters will help provide a constant visual representation of the phonics skills utilized in the classroom, helping keep the information at the forefront of the learning experience!

Each item will be utilized in the appropriate manner and will help make the students classroom phonics and reading time a much more inviting and pleasant experience for them!
