Help me give my students the school supplies such as whiteboards, write and wipe pockets, and linking cubes they need to be successful in learning at home.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach 18 Pre-K students each year. These 4 year olds come to school with a variety of backgrounds but all have an incredible excitement for learning. They are curious about everything they hear and see in my classroom.
Students who attend high-quality prekindergarten are more likely to be successful in their futures.
My goal is to provide these early learners with the best possible experience in their first year of school.
My Project
In order to successfully learn at home, my students need a variety of materials. Most of my students come from low-income homes and do not have the necessary supplies for home learning. My students will need crayons, paper, counters, and other basic materials to complete activities.
Please help provide my students with these essential learning materials so they can be successful in these uncertain times.
My pre-k students cannot sit in front of a screen for learning all day. Instead, they need hands-on materials they can manipulate and explore with. I hope to set my students and their families up for success by supplying these materials.
