My students come to school eager to learn. Our school community works hard to provide the best possible education for our students! There are over 800 students in our school. Many of the students are English Language Learners. There are 16 different language groups in my school. Giving our students a hands-on learning experience will enrich their education!

My Project
My students will be able to enhance their reading and writing skills using engaging high interest articles throughout the year. The Storyworks Jr. Magazine also provides contest throughout the year.
To instill a love of reading for all of my students with their diverse backgrounds is a gift that you can provide with engaging stories.
Reading high interest level stories will help my students stay focus and be able relate to the stories' characters or events.
My ELL, English Language Learners, students benefit from the vibrant illustrations of the stories depicted in this wonderful Storyworks Jr. Magazine! Also the bold words and graphs are an important element to promote comprehension. The on-line access to the magazine allows the story to be read to my students.
