Rock on! Do you remember watching your favorite rock band and wishing you could play guitar like that. Many students do not have the ability to take private guitar lessons, so let's make their dream of playing guitar a school-wide reality.
These are magnet school students from all backgrounds.
They are bussed in from all over our county. These students are very eager to learn and really enjoy music. My students really enjoy enrichment activities that involve more hands on activities and learning.
My Project
These guitars will provide my elementary music students with a sense of accomplishment and success that they can take with them for a lifetime. Music can change their lives and can be a outlet for expression. By the time they are ready to go to middle school, they will know how to read music and chords and be able to play lots of songs on guitar. Who knows, even start their own band!
Many students do not have the opportunity at home to have music instruments.
Through your support all of our students will have the opportunity to learn to play guitar. Many students will find a love for music that will last a lifetime because of your support.
