This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My fourth grade students will begin remote learning on August 4th. We will be using a new platform that is unfamiliar to us all. It will be a group effort to make this happen successfully. It definitely takes a village!
My Project
Due to the COVID Pandemic and unusual circumstances that our world is facing, especially in relation to education and schooling, my students will begin the school year participating in remote learning.
I need a document camera, desk lamp, and a pencil holder in order to set up a desk area in my home so that I can teach my students and correspond with them in a professional setting that is not my bed or my couch.
I will use the document camera during live teaching sessions, and also for recorded teaching videos.
It could be a long time before we return to face to face learning, so I would like to embrace remote learning for the time being, and encourage my students to have a positive attitude towards it as well.
